Due to new FDA regulations prohibiting literal food imagery, these two brands required a rebrand to maintain compliance while preserving their market appeal.
final design
Original branding depicted pancakes and french toast. My solution was to feature circles to resemble fruits on pancakes and a white speckle to resemble powdered sugar on french toast while maintaining some of the playfulness in the original designs.
The Sweet & Tasty text on the sides of the French Dude boxes also feature a beret to push the "French" in French Dude further.
